First Impressions
Since I came to know of complex words like ‘impress’, ‘first’ , etc. I’ve always been told first impressions matter and that they are really important. Rather it’s very important to leave a great first impression as that’s what leaves an imprint, an image that sticks to the back of the mind whenever you are mentioned, etcetra, etcetra.
Really? Or is it just that we feel that, “yes they do”, because we’ve all been told that they do.. Or we actually just go along with the first impression?? And NOW that EVERYBODY is TAUGHT to give a good first impression and that many people doctor their first impression so that they seem impressive.
Still true? Well I believe that very few (verrrry few) first impressions actually turn out to be true. Atleast that’s true for me. If you don’t think so, I’d definitely want to meet you, because I’m too poor at judging people by the first meeting with them.Second talk, I judge correctly but thats almost always the opposite.
Now that i think of it, is it just because we see them from a different perspective? Its been widely said “The extent of the beauty of anything is actually dependent on how we look at it, our own perspective, our own frame of mind at that instant.” So, is it just all on us how we wish to view a person?
