M v/s M
An extensive study was taken up among the ‘bright’ students at a prominent college in an upcoming place called Pilani on the pros and cons of a mobile phone over internet messengers and startling discoveries were made. A summary of the report has been presented below.

Speaking-listening-speaking protocol is wayyy better than the typical type-read-type protocol (Now please go hang yourself if you’re thinking about voice recognition and typing)

The personal touch can always be brought in through the cell phone.
Mb 3 | Ms 0
Loads of time is saved on the phone and time, as we all know is very important and should not be wasted. (dare you put a :P there)
Mb 4 | Ms 0
You are actually sure, while calling, that you’re talking to the person you think you are.
Mb 5 | Ms 0
While on a call you are talking to a single person and are not disturbed incessantly by the stupid and unnecessary “hey..dere”s, howdys and HAYs. (That too after a clear red dot with a bold DND beneath)
Mb 6 | Ms 0
You dont get disconnected in the middle of an important conversation on the cell. Usually.
Mb 6.5 | Ms 0
Vf / Airtel : call (1 min)/Msg = Re 1
Gtalk : free
Mb 0 | Ms 7
The conclusions found were amazingly clear when “all” of those surveyed said they preferred gtalk over the convenient call even after listing down all the above points themselves. The decision of calling them cheap b*****ds is left to the readers.
